This is becoming my everyday snack!

After lesson today, the boys went over to have a friendly-match of 5V5 basketball game. Though they were not "school team", they were very commendable for their courage and sportsmanship to take up the challenge! They did not score a victory after a tough match, but was proud to have said that they have challenged the China students!

After supporting them, Zehao, Emmanuel, XuEn, Mr. Tan and I went over to their small town just outside the school gate, mahjong house, for a game of Mahjong. It was a very nice experience to be able to play mahjong overseas with our own styles, but without certain cards! The mahjong tables were equipped with self-shuffling and dice-throwing ability, it was definitely not something we could simply find in Singapore.

We ended our day with a very nice meal just below our dormitory, it was the first try of eggplant in my entire 19 years of life!
Great job guys!
The mahjong house we went after our class, it was nicely decorated with auto-shuffling machines!
Who said China stuffs weren't good? This ice-cream made my day!
This stall's environment may not be very comfortable, but it felt very cozy!

The early bird gets the food!

Setting off to San Xing Dui Museum at 7.30 is crazy!

Majority of us dragged our feet out of our bed in order to meet the setting off time at 7.30 a.m. We had to bring the trip forward as the driver who's willing to fetch us to the museum, had to start work at 8 a.m and he he made the extra effort to offer the chauffeuring service! The museum is an interesting place for a visit because, there were many relics unique to the Chengdu area that were dig out thousands of years ago, and were unexplainable of how they were made with the technology in the past.

After a morning filled with rich history of Chengdu, i realized 1 thing about china citizens. They are very proud of their own country and people, they are always competing and comparing with what others have to question about their own country. Take the history for example, they could argue on the fact that Gold were discovered first in Egypt, but China's first gold discovery was much purer in percentage as compared to the Egypt's first discovery!

We came back for lesson and headed for some after-lesson sports, table-tennis and badminton. It was a nice workout after such a long and tiring day which helps to relax our mind! The students here participates actively in sports like basketball, table-tennis, badminton and martial arts as their co-curriculum activities. There were not much of a choices of recreational activities in the area of this school and maybe due to financial restrictions, resorting to sports would be a better and healthier choice!
Our museum guide, which gave us many valuable informations!

Sunday / Monday blues ?

For the first time, i witnessed how plants are trimmed vertically!
Am very proud to show this, we have been doing our laundry ourselves!
We were setting off to GuangHan Town!
Mr. Nick Tan Tzer Chang!

Lessons was held this morning, on a SUNDAY morning, tell me about it! Everyone including me, was very reluctant to attend the class and was dragging their foot to the classroom. But come to think of it, sacrificing the day would mean more time for us in the upcoming week for more activities! In fact, i would rather spend Sundays studying and Mondays for recreational activity, it would drive Monday blues away! After lessons, we headed to GuangHan town with Mr.Nick to settle some "Theme Park Outing" ticketing matter and some shopping!

I got myself a long awaited Nike, hot pink bag-pack! I've seen it at ChengDu last weekend and decided to lay my hands on it and make Subaa jealous! I love how pink contrasts with black and how it compliments a manly-looking bag, it would be a pity if i gave it a miss. I really love how the small trips are organised with the companion of Mr.Nick, it gives us more chance to explore and enjoy our stay!

How awesome is pink? That's a new bag i got here!
An average tasting, only fast food in GuangHan Town! "Dico's"
