Boomz! Boomz!

Look at all of our face, everyone is already missing Rahim, but she will be coming to classes from next week onwards! The wound is healing at a pretty slow rate, but it beats not healing at all. We managed to convince Mr.Cheah to make a change in the time-table for the upcoming week, postponing the test and presentation and also, making the lessons own time own target (OTOT)! This way, i feel that we will be more efficient in doing our work at our own pace and not feel so controlled by the other's pace of learning.

Guess what? We released fireworks tonight! It was ZeHao's first lighting of fireworks in the whole of his entire life because all these are illegal in Singapore! What an experience for those who was there to witness the whole process!

Somebody save her!

Here is Rahim being released from the toilet!

Our day ended just like the rest of the week, without Rahim. During lunch, when we went back to visit her in her dorm, she was nowhere to be found! She was stuck in the toilet for nearly 3 hours! She's such a poor thing, she keeps claiming that China hates her and does not want here here any longer because firstly, she got her toes scrapped, now she got locked in her own dorm's toilet! How unlucky could one get?

Finally, we got our pictures for the trip poster taken! We are all looking forward to see the end result, and hopes that everyone who see that poster back in Ngee Ann Polytechnic will be taken aback by the picture and off course, envy us!

Hip Hip Hurray!

Days without Rahim..

Today marks the last day of official lecture! The 7-chapter syllabus was completed this afternoon and we no longer have to suffer the agony of trying to stay awake to concentrate in class! Next Thursday will mark our doomsday because it will be the common test, which i am so not prepared for it. Please let miracle happen to all of us and ace this test with flying colors!

Tonight our group did something cool with Mr. Tan, we went for a "麻辣" steamboat, where the food was already cooked. It was such a nice feeling to be crowding together and eating steamboat in such cold weather! Next up, we went over to the "K-Box" where the system was using an old PC with mouse controlled. The songs were rather up-to-date i would say, but was limited on the other hand. I love going to karaokes back in Singapore, and now that i got to try it in China, it was awesome!

I'm no longer bathing with mineral water!

While i was on webcam with Hidayah Rahim in the middle of the class, i asked her to check on the toilet if the water is back. To my surprise, she managed to wash her hands! We were so excited over the fact that the water supply was finally back in action and that everyone became so chatty in the class, i'm sorry Mr.Cheah!

Now that the water is finally available, everyone rushed back to their dormitory for a quick shower after the class. Seriously, we are so fortunate to have constant supply of water running to our homes back in Singapore, and we ought to be thankful for that!

I'm a part-time Aerospace student!

Here, is rahim doing e-learning while resting in her dormitory!
I mean, look at the time, it was already 8.58 p.m and we're only starting on a new chapter!

It was the first time in my life attending night classes, from 7.30p.m to 10p.m. We had no choice but to attend the night class because we chose shopping over morning lecture. It felt really different because my body clock does not function well for studying at night, but the ambient was way better then glaring sun reflecting the words on the black board.

Hidayah Rahim was bed-ridden due to infection on her skin abrasion on her toes, and i suggested she do E-Learning, with her on webcam with my laptop in the class while she's in the dorm resting. I bet it was a experience she could never forget when she recalls about this OIP trip!

The most epic thing that happened today was when i realized that our water supply was cut, when i needed to wash my hands after clinching a big deal with the toilet bowl! Now, we all had to ration our water usage, and i have got only 4L of water to bathe, when an average Singaporean uses 20L to bathe each time! Seriously, let god bless us that the busted water pipe will be fixed soon!

I'm Sorry Rahim!

A group of us went over to Xin Ping Zhen, another rugged town where much groceries could be purchased, without Hidayah Rahim because she was injured. The town was self-sustainable though it looked very run down, it was a good chance for us to see their standards of living and be thankful for what we have. Finally, we bought ourselves more firecrackers and fireworks! I hope that the firework will turn out pretty and enjoyable!
